Tool input and imported files
Text pasted into a VetaTool editor and files imported through a tool are processed by browser code on the device. The application does not send that working content to a VetaTool backend for formatting, conversion, decoding, comparison, generation, or hashing.
Results copied to the clipboard or downloaded as files are handled through browser features. VetaTool does not require an account for these operations.
Optional browser storage
VetaTool stores interface preferences locally, such as the selected theme and tool options. Additional content storage is optional:
- Local history is disabled until it is enabled in the interface.
- The JSON tool remembers the last valid JSON only when the Remember JSON option is enabled.
- Saved history and remembered content remain in browser storage on that device until cleared, expired by the tool policy, or removed through browser controls.
Do not enable these options on a shared device when the input may contain tokens, credentials, personal records, or private source data.
Website delivery data
Visiting VetaTool requires network requests to deliver HTML, JavaScript, fonts, images, and other assets. The site is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested path, timing, and security signals as part of operating and protecting the service.
The current application does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics scripts. If that changes, this page should be updated before the new collection begins.
Sensitive data precautions
Local processing reduces unnecessary transmission, but it does not make a browser session an ideal place for every secret. Avoid pasting production private keys, live passwords, or high-impact credentials into any website. Review decoded or transformed output before sharing it, especially when it may expose token claims, query parameters, or configuration values.
Manage local data
Use the tool history controls to clear saved entries, turn off Remember JSON to remove the remembered value, or clear site data in browser settings to remove all VetaTool local storage for the current browser profile.
